AUDITOR TRAINING

The Auditor Training Program is a two-day course designed for individuals who will be evaluating the effectiveness of a company’s health and safety management system. Participants will be shown how to evaluate systems against the Partnerships in Injury Reduction (PIR) standard. This program consists of a two-day course and a SelfQualification Audit submission (Certified Auditor Certificate).

• How to use the NSA Audit Document


Certification

This course has a written test and various practical activities. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 80% on an open-book written test and demonstrate an understanding of the practical auditing procedure. Participants must submit a self qualification audit (individually conducted) within 45 days after completing the two day course. If the self-qualification audit is approved by the NSA, the participant will be certified as an NSA Auditor.

Prerequisites

Principles of Health and Safety Management (PHSM) must be completed before taking the Auditor Training Program (ATP).
