SCAFFOLDING AWARENESS

This one-day course is designed to provide the participant with comprehensive knowledge about scaffolding systems that are presently being used in the construction industry. This course has been developed for the industry as an awareness course only.


Course Objectives:

  • What types of scaffolding systems are available on the work site

  • What regulatory requirements are associated with scaffolding work

  • How to determine what type of scaffolding system is applicable to the work being performed

  • Fall protection systems and how they are to be used

  • What hand signals are common for lifting, lowering scaffold sections and/or materials and tools to the work location
